How to Read a Book
The Role: Cinematographer & Editor
The Vibe: Educational / Professional / Structured
The Challenge: How do you take a foundational skill and make it visually engaging? The goal of this project was to master the technical standards of professional interview-style filmmaking, ensuring the lighting and composition supported the educational narrative without distraction.
The Strategy: I focused on the "grammar" of cinematography. By utilizing three-point lighting and a multi-cam setup, I aimed to create a clean, high-production look that signals authority and clarity. The strategy was to let the technical execution provide the "polish" that professional brand storytelling requires.
The Making: I served as the lead cinematographer, operating industry-standard equipment, including the Canon XF400. I executed a full three-point lighting setup for the interviews and curated an extensive library of A-roll and B-roll to create a seamless, rhythmic edit. This project demonstrates my fundamental understanding of pacing, professional framing, and visual hierarchy.
