ROUND ONE is a concept about female strength. When women don the same pose, demeanor, and position as their male counterparts do, they are read differently by our society.

I worked with a Canon EOS 7 to shoot photos and videos of the wonderful models. I was under the brilliant direction of Alyssa Samuel, and the creative synergy we had that day was absolutely breathtaking. I handled setting up lighting equipment as well.

This was edited in Premiere Pro; it took 4 hours, but I could not be more satisfied. First, I time-blocked all the scenes to match the music, then I started adding effects and transitions, and finally came the color grading. Everything seemed to just come together naturally. Now, I’m translating the project into short-form content-ready aspect ratios.
